The Xavier School for imPorts

The Xavier School for imPorts is open to students of all ages, regardless of registration status. Classes are offered in traditional subjects such as science, history, and math, along with more specialized imPort-oriented subjects like powers training. Special tutoring is offered to help students from varying backgrounds adjust to their education in this new world.

The school is located just outside of Heropa, and also serves as a dormitory for those who would prefer to live on-campus instead of in government housing. The housing is open to all imPorts regardless of age and registration status. (It should be noted, however, that the faculty may evict residents at their discretion if they believe that the individual may pose a threat to students.)

Character Name: Castiel
Desired Subject: Defense Against the Dark Arts Supernatural Lore + Combat Training (expertise in close-range combat: swords, knives, hand-to-hand) - available to assist with powers training/other academic subjects as needed (see his application for a list of powers/skills)
Qualifications: While Castiel hasn't been a teacher per se, he's existed for eons as a soldier in the Host of Heaven, training with his garrison. He's risen in rank up to the point where he led not only his garrison, but one side of Heaven in a civil war, passing along knowledge and instructions alike. His primary weapon is a short sword, but he's also apt at fighting unarmed with brute strength, or employing his surroundings and various dirty tricks to get the upper hand in combat. As an angel created long before mankind, he also has an extensive knowledge of various matters, from languages to supernatural beings (and how to kill them) to quantum physics to plain old history to theology to obscure lore to anatomy... etc etc.
Notes: Castiel has very poor people skills, although he'll definitely develop an actual interest in whipping the students into shape. ... Not literally. It would be foolish to expect him to have much empathy with young children though - as an angelic soldier, he hardly differentiates between the various developmental stages of humans, and has little sense of what's generally appropriate or inappropriate. He would treat young children, late teens and adults pretty much the same, and find himself baffled by them all.

Character Name: Sam Winchester
Desired Subject: Sam would actually rather be a librarian, but he's had a lot of training in guns, hand to hand, knives, some sword work (thank you, Cas). Does anybody really need to learn Latin? Sam's good at that. He's also really good at research, does a lot of reading and can probably help tutor most high school subjects in a pinch.
Qualifications: Sam has MOST of a BA in pre-law (didn't quite finish, had to drop out in November of his senior year). He's also really, really smart and did well in his high school classes. Probably not going to be much help for powers training, though.
Notes: Sam has an immunity to mind control, so I don't know how that's going to translate for the headmasters. He's also going to be trying to get into law school, so he may only be a part-time librarian.

Qualifications: Killed a lot of Nazis. Like a lot. Possibly also Hitler. (Non-disclosed: Sort of was the Cold War. Trained the Red Room's best assassins.)
Notes: BuckyCap would like to be a drop-in, not an official teacher. He'd show up to give basic training and assessments to all students and to give one to one classes to the most promising. He'll try for a few ethical conversations, but he's no Steve Rogers. Mostly he'd like to keep an eye on the kids and follow up on Steve's history of helping out.
